Like an education is built over years of hard work and brain storming, Dellstem too was a budding seed that was nurtured to what it is today post a tedious journey. Born from the idea of a 16-year-old boy wondering about the rush he had seen at school again. It happened every year. Huge number of parents and kids standing in long queues that would last till evenings, a usual yet unsettling sight.
Wandering back to his home, he raised the same questions to his parents and he was appalled to know that this was also the way he received admission in his school. There was a discussion around the admission and the issues both the management and students face. A young Rahul was left thinking, finally falling to sleep unsettled.
Months passed, then years.
While seeking admission in some of the best colleges in India, on one such instance he lost his wallet while having to travel for filling the college admission form. That’s it. A frustrated Rahul decided that there was enough suffering, and that education is the basic right of a child. He found it totally baffling how so much pressure had to be endured by both, the administration and applicants, for something as basic as education.
Enter Neetesh with his amazing plan to change the dimension of the education sector. Destiny had planned Dellstem, one could say! Rahul and Neetesh met while working for the same organization and a friendship was born over strong coffees and hectic schedules. It was over one such coffee session that the ideas came pouring out of Neetesh. Rahul, having found the answer to his years of frustration, held onto the plan with both his hands. Coming from technological backgrounds, they further believed in their concept of a cloud solution for effortless and paperless admission process.
It was also by chance that Sandip, a family friend of Rahul, built an inclination towards the idea. On one such day, the idea of revolutionizing the admission process was discussed over a cup of tea. Sold to the idea and inspired by it he too decided to help them conceive Dellstem. With strong technological backgrounds of Neetesh and Rahul, and a sales background of Sandip, Dellstem was just one step away from becoming a reality. Adding that last step and completing the dream was Vaibhav. Another family friend of Rahul and Sandip and a man with sound financial knowledge, Vaibhav added the final stroke to the brilliant idea of Dellstem.
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” – Nelson Mandela. In the process to make sure that this powerful weapon finds an easy path, Dellstem brings us the idea that will help smoothen out the admission process in India. The dream of a technologically superior admission process is on the way of making. The four pillars of Dellstem are the standing examples of how a small idea can become a tangible reality.
